Physiological causes of yield variation in similar durated mungbean genotypes
نویسندگان
چکیده
The experiment was conducted during February to May, 2019 at the research farm of Bangladesh Institute Nuclear Agriculture, Mymensingh-2202. objective study evaluate growth, reproductive characteristics, yield and components four similar durated mungbean genotypes, namely BARI Mung-2, Binamoog-2, MB-29, MB-43. At most growth stages, mutant MB-29 showed superiority in terms parameters such as total dry matter, leaf area index, absolute rate, relative net assimilation rate whilst MB-43 inferiority. Furthermore, outperformed other three genotypes attributing features, resulting a higher seed than genotypes. In comparison, lowest value for parameters. correlated positively significantly with area, number pods plant-1. J. Acad. Sci. 47(1); 101-108: June 2023

Evaluation of Mungbean Genotypes Based on Yield Stability and Reaction to Mungbean Yellow Mosaic Virus Disease
This work was conducted to identify mungbean genotypes showing yield stability and resistance to mungbean yellow mosaic virus (MYMV) disease. Sixteen genotypes were evaluated in a randomized complete block design with two replications for two years (2011 and 2012) at three locations (Gazipur, Ishurdi and Madaripur) of the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute. An analysis of variance exhib...

Field studies with and without Bradyrhizobium was carried out with five mungbean varieties to observe the yield and yield attributes of mungbean. Five mungbean varieties viz. BARI Mung-2, BARI Mung-4, BARI Mung-5, BINA mung-2 and Barisal local, and the rhizobial inoculum (Bradyrhizobium strain BAUR-604) were used. The seeds and stover were dried and weighed adjusting at 14% moisture content and...
